Kindergarten

Two weeks ago (and yes, I know I am very late posting this), Haley started Kindergarten. She was very excited about starting school. She only had good things to say about her teacher that she met at a before school event.
I talked to Haley on the phone the night before her first day of school, and she was very excited about the next day! She told me all about her matching Hello Kitty backpack and lunchbox. She was all set!

Jennifer did her hair so perfectly it kind of looked like a wig to me. Speaking of Haley’s hair, the other day, Haley asked Jennifer if she could curl her hair for school. Then Haley had second thoughts and told Jennifer that she better not curl her hair because she (and I quote) “might turn some heads.” Well, OK Miss Haley!
Jennifer said that Haley did great her first day of school. She walked right in and put her backpack and lunchbox where she was supposed to and said, “bye Mom!” like an old pro.
So far, Haley is getting a lot out of school. As Haley says, she has “gotten the one thing she didn’t have and has always wanted... a boyfriend.” That Haley is too much sometimes!
